Review: Tory Lanez "MEMORIES DON'T DIE" at the Filmore Silver Spring

Updated: Sep 22, 2018

Tory Lanez, Xavier Dussaq

It’s no secret that Tory Lanez offers one of the most immersive and high adrenaline performances of our time. The hype is so real, that a few days ago his fans even started lighting up fireworks in the middle of his show. That hype.

During his stop at The Fillmore Silverspring for his MEMORIES DON'T DIE tour, Lanez played songs new; "B.I.D", "Shooters", "Real Thing" and old;" LUV", "Say It", "Talk to me", to name a few as the crowd sang along to all of his lyrics.

Lanez consistently jumped off stage to crowd surf for full songs at a time as he organized his fans to help him stand up at moments for everyone to see him on the crowd. To top things off, he achieved, in awe of everyone in attendance, what seemed impossible by successfully climbing to the second floor in the closed venue with nothing more than his bare hands and a little push from his fans. When he reached the top he encouraged everyone to never give up as he served as a relentless example of what can be done with a solid purpose.

All in all, it’s hard to describe Tory Lanez performance at The Fillmore Silverspring, no video nor photo would do justice to it either. The only thing that I can say is that it’s one of those fucking epic performances that will leave you with a memory that won’t die.
